Job Seeker Visa

• Duration: Up to 18 months.

• Eligibility: Available to international graduates who have completed a degree from a recognized German higher education institution.

EU Blue Card

• Duration: Typically valid for up to 4 years, or the duration of the employment contract plus 3 months.

• Eligibility: Graduates must have a job offer in Germany with a salary that meets the minimum threshold (usually €56,400 annually, or €43,992 for shortage occupations). The job must require a university degree.

• Conditions: The visa is tied to the employer but allows for job changes. It also provides a pathway to long-term residency.

Residence Permit for Employment

• Duration: Typically valid for up to 4 years.

• Eligibility: For graduates who find a job that is relevant to their degree. The employer must prove that the job requires a university degree.

• Conditions: The residence permit is tied to the employer and job position. Graduates must meet salary and job relevance criteria.

Entrepreneur Visa

• Duration: Typically valid for up to 3 years.

• Eligibility: For graduates who want to start a business in Germany. They must present a viable business plan and demonstrate sufficient funds.

• Conditions: The business must be innovative and contribute to the economy. Entrepreneurs must also comply with local regulations and tax laws.

Permanent Settlement Permit

• Eligibility: After 33 months on a qualifying residence permit (such as the EU Blue Card), graduates may apply for permanent settlement, allowing them to live and work in Germany indefinitely.

• Conditions: Applicants must meet residency requirements, demonstrate German language skills, and show integration into German society.

German Citizenship
