PR and Citizenship Pathway - UK
- Student Visa (Tier 4): This is the initial visa required to study in the UK. It allows you to stay for the duration of your course plus a short period after it ends.
- Graduate Visa: After completing a degree at a recognized institution, you may be eligible for a Graduate Visa, which allows you to stay and work or look for work for up to two years (or three years for doctoral graduates).
- Work Visa (Skilled Worker Visa): To stay longer and work in the UK, you’ll need a Skilled Worker Visa. This visa requires you to have a job offer from an approved employer and meet salary and skill level requirements.
- Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR): After five years of lawful residence in the UK under a work visa, you can apply for ILR. This status allows you to live and work in the UK indefinitely.
- British Citizenship: After holding ILR for at least one year, you can apply for British citizenship. You need to meet residency requirements, pass the Life in the UK Test, and prove English language proficiency.
